I am going to say something crazy right now....are you ready? OK... You don't need 100 different cleaning products for your home. You know how we've been scammed into thinking each item in our home needs its own individual cleaner? Well, it is a marketing ploy used by the big corporations to get us to buying MORE MORE MORE! One of my favorite aspects of essential oils are the variety of ways each oil can be used! (Case in point- type into Pinterest "ways to use lemon oil" and see what comes up!)

This is a basic glass cleaner recipe that I also use to clean my acrylic cabinets, bathroom sinks, kitchen and bathroom countertops* and my kitchen table as well as all the glass surfaces and windows around!

DIY Glass Cleaner

What You’ll Need

1 16 oz glass spray bottle

1 cup white vinegar (or check out the extra strength Cleaning Vinegar below)

1 cup water (it is best to use distilled water, or water that has been boiled and cooled)

8 drops of any citrus oil (lemon, lime, grapefruit and wild orange all work, and can also be combined)

Add all ingredients in the order listed to the spray bottle and shake the bottle vigorously.

To Use: Shake well before use. Spray directly onto glass surface or onto a cloth to wipe down surfaces.

*Do not use vinegar based cleaners on marble countertops.
