Paleo Vegan Nutella Bites

The perfect post dinner bite- sweet, chocolatey and reminiscent of all those times I ate Nutella with a spoon..... If you are the type of person who NEEDS dessert after dinner, then this is the perfect dessert for you!

Paleo Vegan Nutella Bites

12 dates

1/4c cocoa powder (or raw cacao)

1/4c almond butter

splash, vanilla

3/4c hazelnuts, toasted in the oven 15-20 minutes and peeled (unless you can find already peeled ones. Also, I've tried almonds and walnuts with success)

Place dates, cocoa, almond butter and vanilla into a blender and blend under a thick gooey paste forms. Remove from blender into a medium bowl. Without washing the blender jar, place toasted nuts and pulse until small chopped pieces form- its ok to have some larger and some finer pieces. (A food processor can also be used).

Place nuts into the bowl with the dates and mix to combine. Roll into balls or place into silicone baking molds. Place is freezer to set, minimum 30 minutes. Enjoy!
