There is a little french fry and lemonade stand by my parent's summer house that my family is obsessed with. We don't put any condiments other than a shake of salt and we sip real freshly squeezed lemonade (with extra sugar). Even though I don't eat many fried foods, I always allowed a little wiggle room to have some of these incredible french fries! I am writing this post to give you guys the secret to Boardwalk french fries, without the deep frying! If you are skeptic, give it a try and let me know how blown away you are by the results!

Baked Boardwalk French Fries
3 large Russet potatoes, sliced into fries
2 tbsp olive oil
sea salt
Submerge potatoes in cold water and let sit at least 1 hour to remove excess starch. Drain water and pat completely dry. Add potatoes to a bowl and massage with oil. Place potatoes on 2 parchment lined trays in a single layer. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes. then flip fries and turn heat to 450. Cook an additional 15-20 minutes until crispy.
