These brussel sprouts have a delicious tanginess to them that makes it the perfect side dish to any dinner! I love that these take a short time and minimal effort to prepare, which is exactly what I need in my weekly repertoire.

Maple- Balsamic Brussel Sprouts

1 package brussel sprouts (about 1- 1/5 pounds)

2-3 tablespoons olive oil

salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon maple syrup

Slice brussel sprouts lengthwise on a half sheet pan. Mix oil, salt and pepper by hand. Roast brussel sprouts on 400 until slightly charred. While brussel sprouts are in the oven, whisk 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup. Drizzle over brussel sprouts. Add extra cracked black pepper. Serve warm or room temperature.

Had to make a little cauliflower rice buddha bowl to go along with the brussels!
