Iced Matcha Latte

Good morning everyone! Meet your new favorite morning drink- the iced matcha latte! I recently gave up my coffee habit (/addiction?) and set out to find something to replace it. If you are someone who loves coffee (like me!) then I totally understand you thinking that you could not possibly give the stuff up! However, just hear me out that this drink just may make you just as happy without the caffeine jolt and jitters. This iced drink is: CREAMY, TASTY, and SATISFYING, which is why I pretty much drink it every single day.
Lately, I've been actively trying to make sure I eat enough protein in the day (Of course a plant based diet contains protein, but meat eaters can get 23 grams of protein in as little as 3 ounces of chicken, whereas I need to eat way more plant foods to derive the same benefit, which is sometimes a challenge). For this reason, I use Unsweetened Ripple milk, which has 8 grams of protein per cup as opposed to the standard almond milk that has 3 grams.

Iced Matcha Latte
1 cup Ripple milk
1 teaspoon matcha powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
4-5 ice cubes
1 tbsp MCT or coconut oil, optional but why not?
Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until ice is crushed. If making hot, simply eliminate the ice cubes and stir in a pot over medium heat.
Here's how I included my matcha latte into my morning routine- with pancakes and some Frankinsense!
