Perfect for when figs are in season, these bites are SO easy to make and always an absolute hit with company! Once fig season is over, you can use dates as well!

Frozen Chocolate Fig Bites

1 box fresh figs

1/4 cup cashew butter to spread on figs (or any nut butter, more or less depending on preference)

Hemp seeds to sprinkle on top, optional

Chocolate coating:

1/2 cup coconut oil, melted and warm

1/2 cup raw cacao powder

1/4 cup maple syrup

Slice figs half and spread cashew butter on both sides. Place the two fig halves back together and set onto a parchment lined tray to freeze 20 minutes. While freezing, make the chocolate sauce- Combine the melted coconut oil with the raw cacao and maple syrup and whisk well until smooth. Dip figs in chocolate- the chocolate will harden instantly. Sprinkle hemp seeds if desired and place back in the freezer to freeze 1-2 hours.
